Services are free to participants who are referred from the Department of Children and Family Services in Washington State. Private-pay services can also be arranged. Please contact our Administrative Office at 509-458-7445 for prices and to schedule an appointment.

Upcoming Classes

We have Parenting Classes and Fatherhood Classes starting in June!

Parenting Class Information:

SCAN will be offering parenting classes highlighting Michael H. Popkin, PhD's "Active Parenting Now" parenting techniques. This program is approved by the Department of Social and Health Services - Children's Division. Classes start June 24th and will be offered for a ten week period. Fatherhood Class Information:

SCAN will be offering "Nurturing Fathers" and "Conscious Fathering" classes starting June 22nd. The Nurturing Fathers class is a twelve-week group-based program designed by Mark Perlman, MA. Men will learn skills for being a nurturing father, both from the curriculum and from other dads in a supportive group environment. The Conscious Fathering class is offered one-on-one and is a hands-on skills class for new and expectant fathers.
